ABOUT THE PROJECT
Rotary Club of Kenton on Sea had put their old website to good use but it was in time for a refresh. The Rotary brand itself had evolved, the content needed restructuring and the website needed to be optimised for mobile use.
We developed a bright and easy to navigate blog driven website. As many photographs for their news posts are taken by the members themselves – using both cameras and phones – we made sure that image galleries, content width and news feeds would allow for various image sizes. Categorising blogs/news posts and creating search and archive pages makes finding information on this content heavy website easy.
We added an ecommerce section enabling the club to sell their cookbook nationally. In future, we’ll use the ecommerce platform to help them sell tickets for the many events they organise and host in our area.
Moving forward we’ll assist in social media campaigns to help drive traffic to the website and spread awareness about this dynamic club and the good work they do for the local community.
